These terms cover your use of Sound of Sliver, the daily music game at soundofsliver.com, made by Factory Design LLC. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Factory Design LLC.

By playing, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The game

Sound of Sliver is free to play, and you don't need an account. We can change the game, add or remove features, or take it offline at any time.

Points, bonuses and ranks are only part of the game. They have no cash value and can't be exchanged for anything.

Fair play

Play the game yourself. Don't use bots, scripts or other automation to play it, and don't send scores or bonus claims to our servers any way other than by playing. Don't exploit bugs, and don't try to get around our limits on saves, votes or bonuses. Don't interfere with the site or try to reach the parts of it that aren't meant for players.

If you find a bug, please tell us through CONTACT / FEEDBACK.

If we think a score or bonus breaks these rules, we can remove it. We can also block the devices or addresses involved.

Leaderboard names

Names on the leaderboards are initials of two or three letters. Don't use them to spell anything offensive. We can change or remove any name or score.

A city label, worked out from your IP address, appears next to your score. The Privacy Policy explains how that works.

Music and artwork

The songs, previews and album artwork in the game belong to their rights holders. Most of the previews and artwork are served by Apple, and the reveal for each song links to it on Apple Music. We don't sell music, and playing the game doesn't give you any rights to the songs.

If you hold the rights to something in the game and want it taken out, contact us.

Our content

The game's design, code, name and look belong to Factory Design LLC. You're welcome to share your results, screenshots and short clips of your own games. Don't copy the game, or reuse its design, code or brand, without our permission.

Your feedback

If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them without owing you anything.

Links to other sites

The game links to other sites and apps, such as Apple Music, Spotify and social networks. We don't control them. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

No warranty

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that it will always be available or free of bugs. Songs, scores and streaks can change or disappear.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Factory Design LLC is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the game or not being able to use it, including lost scores or data. Some places don't allow limits like this, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update the game and these terms. When the terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If you keep playing after that, you accept the new terms.
